Seeking for someone in a crowd can occur to all of us. Many reasons can lead us to look for a mysterious person in a crowded place: search of a beloved person, fear of someone dangerous, curiosity...
This quest can occur differently depending on the environment in which it is performed. In a peaceful and cooperative environment, looking for someone can be a pleasant and even amusing experience like solving a clue. If the conditions of the quest tend to deteriorate, the environment will appear aggressive and fearful.
The interactive environment is organized along the same scenario as a game. The game is directed by the displacements of the crowd. Each person starts from a Western Europe city and walks towards her target, a city in Eastern Asia. The game terminates when the player has discovered the hidden person or when the hidden person has reached her target without being discovered.
The player can interact with any person in the crowd. If she comes close enough to this person she will be told the relative position of the mysterious person. She will only be told once by each person in the crowd. The mysterious person can only be discovered when she is over half way to her target. Remaining time is displayed by a progress bar in the bottom right of the screen. When the mysterious person can be discovered, the square in the bottom middle of the screen shifts from red to green. Last clue, a square at the bottom left represents the earth surface and a red dot the location of the player.
The player starts from the Atlantic Ocean

Her first target is to reach the moving crowd. The higher she moves, the faster.

Then she moves inside the crowd. She tries to get close to persons she has not yet asked for a clue. If so the reply is a relative position.

If not, no additional clue is given.

As times passes, the light dims and orientation becomes more difficult.

Explosions and bursts make a hostile environment in which the player tends to be distracted from her primary goal. The explosions randomly kill persons in the crowd, thus diminishing the number of persons that can provide clues.

An enlighten factory helps the player to localize the target cities and try to catch the mysterious person before she reaches her target.
